Kristin Dion has been passionately involved with Argentine tango since 2010, drawing on her background in engineering and Lindy Hop dancing. She has studied with a diverse collection of instructors, including Brigitta Winkler, Alicia Pons, Marika Landry, Luciana Valle, and Susanna Miller. She enjoyed a three week vacation of full time dancing in Buenos Aires in 2013 and performed as a dancer with QTANGO for a United Way of Central New Mexico donor appreciation event in 2014. She has performed tango music on flute with the LOFT Community Tango Orchestra in the San Francisco Bay Area and with the DC Tango Orchestra in the Washington DC region. In 2017 she completed foundational dance teaching training with Tango Mercurio. Her dancing and music balances the tension between propagating the best of the traditional and exploring new frontiers of the universe of tango culture.

Bill and Betty are DanceKinesis and Tangokinesis certified instructors specializing in turning a body’s innate movement into dance. They began as a ballroom social dancers in 2006, but after seeing a Carlos Gavito and Marcella Duran performance became Tango enthusiasts and began looking for someone to teach them this beautiful art! Their first Tango lesson was in 2013 with a friend and ballroom teacher and their first performance was in 2014. On their first tango cruise they were introduced to Percell St Thomass and his DanceKinesis and Tangokinesis training on which they now focus their attention to accelerate growth as dancers and to become teachers.

Betty and Bill have been teaching Tango for nine years. She has performed and competed in Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, Columbus OH, and Huntsville AL with her coach Clyde C. Harris, World Champion Latin Professional and Dance Coach. To quote their friend and teacher, “The difference between a master and a beginner is that the beginner cannot wait to become a master, but the master is always a beginner.” -Percell St Thomass
